Betting In Roulette
Players can place a number of bets. They can make what are called “inside” bets, which is to select a single number or a range of numbers that the ball will land on. They can also make “outside bets,” which are bets made on odd or even numbers, the color of pocket, or certain groupings of pockets. Everything is based on probability, so there may be minimum and maximum bets set at the Roulette table.
Each bet goes by a certain name. Those include: straight-up, which is a single pocket bet; split, which is a bet on two numbers that are next to each other; street, which is a bet on three numbers that reside on a single horizontal line; corner, which is a bet on numbers that are in a single square layout; six line, which is a bet where the chip is placed at what is called an intersection between to adjoining streets; and trio, which is betting on the intersecting point that is between 00, 2 and 3 or 0, 1 and 2. |
